Social Media Optimization: LookupPage
This is part of a series of posts that is covering every social media/social networking site on the web.
LookupPage
Enhance your online visibility on all leading search engines using LookupPage. Be in control of your business and personal online image.
What Does That Mean For You?
LookupPage offers you a chance to create a personal and/or business profile online. You can get additional visibility on the web by creating a profile and grow exposure to your background, achievements and show off your resume/portfolio.
Pro Tip: Be sure when you sign up that you customize your URL to your first and last name so when someone Google’s your name it’ll show on your search string! (Important when you are job searching!)
You are able to put in all of the normal information such as your name, company, location, age, with leaving a good amount of things optional so you don’t have to place too much personal information. You’ll want to add over 100 words in the About You section and the easiest way to do that is copy some of your content from your LinkedIn profile and customize it a bit. Below is an example of my About section.
Add a photo even if it’s a picture of a sunset or your company’s logo. People are visual creatures and it’s best to always fill this section.
In the links section you can promote your LinkedIn, Twitter or anything that you would like to promote professionally.
I would classify LookupPage as a profile you set up once and update it once your job position has changed.
