Social Media Optimization: Flavors.me

Flavors.me allows anyone to make a branded web presence using personal content from around the Internet.
What Does This Mean For You?
Flavors.me is a site that is very similar to About.me. (Check out how you can optimize your About.me profile). You can use any picture you’d like to customize the background of your Flavors.me page. I recommend you use a large pixel sized picture of yourself.
Flavors.me has a lot of features you can use if you are a premium member. I don’t see the need for an upgraded profile. About.me allows you to do more and create business cards from your page which is such a cool feature. I would classify the flavors.me profile as just another social site to place your name on and only go back to it when you need to change your biography information.
Below are the steps to complete your profile. Make sure to keep your information up to date!
1. Name
2. About
Summarize what you have done professionally and your education background. Also highly a few of your interests and what you do on your free time.
3. Links
Here you can add any other links like your .com or the company you currently work for.
4. Share
Give the option for people to share your Flavors.me profile. (if anyone clicks them this is incorporated into social signals and you get free promotion!).
5. Footer
Move the footer to a place on your profile that doesn’t intersect with your biography or links.

6. Content
You can connect up to 5 accounts that you are currently signed up for. If you have no services to add then start signing up for a few!
7. Design
Here is where you can get creative with how your profile looks. Play around with the features to customize your profile.
