Even with the new Facebook changes that are happening you can still take control of your photo privacy. I love having all of my pictures in one place but I wanted to be able to hide them from people on my Friends list.  So the following are the steps you can take to make the photos from your photo albums private and also steps to hide all of the photos you are tagged in.

If you want to hide pictures that you have in photo albums go to your photos section on your page and click:

This icon will be an option on every photo album that you have.

You click on that option and change it to “only me” which will end up making the icon look like the following:

Once you have changed your privacy settings for your photo albums you are still left with all of your photos you are tagged in on Facebook.

Go to your privacy settings and click on the following settings link:

Once you are here you have more options.  Click on the next setting option:

Customize your setting and make your option to ‘only me”.

All of your photos are now private so only you can see them.  To test out how others see your Facebook page go to your profile and click the following drop down next to Activity log:

Click ‘view as’ and then you will have an option to choose how one of your friends views your Facebook page.
